Triumph Over Diet - Breakfast
The following breakfast and gentle cleansing plan is part of the Triumph Over Paradigm created by Agi Lidle. It is designed to help you transition into a healthier lifestyle by teaching you how to start your day. Give it 30 days.
Before you begin this portion of your Triumph Over Diet, take a look in your cupboards and your refrigerator and give away, or better yet throw away, anything containing the following ingredients:
- Food colorings, artificial colors
- MSG
- NutraSweet, aspartame
- Caffeine
- Sugar, high fructose corn syrup, dextrose, sucrose
- Hydrolyzed vegetable protein
- Hydrolyzed protein, plant protein, textured protein
- Autolyzed yeast, yeast extract
- Sodium caseinate, calcium caseinate
- Malt extract
- Hickory smoke condesate (HSG)
- Propylene glycol
- Nitrites
- Coal tar
- Hormones
These harmful ingredients can interfere with you achieving positive results. To learn more about these ingredients read the following books: “Triumph Over ADD, ADHD & Tourette Syndrome”, written by Agi Lidle or “Excitotoxins, The Taste That Kills”, written by Russell L. Blaylock M.D.
Once you have eliminated these harmful ingredients you can begin your transition. In the beginning you may experience withdrawal symptoms from these chemicals. Symptoms may include: headache, achy and tired feelings, irritability and possible anxiety. If you are seeing a physician, let him or her know about your diet change.
Important: You may want to take two weeks to one month to prepare for the transition by gradually weaning off of sugar and caffeine. It is much easier to achieve success because the cravings and withdrawal symptoms lessen. |
Breakfast & Cleansing Program
You will succeed on this plan WHEN you take the time each week to plan your breakfasts and have the foods on hand for the coming week.
First Week
Start your day each morning (Monday through Friday) with:
- 8oz glass of warm water with the juice of ½ -1 fresh lemon (Is a gentle cleanse for the body )
- Brain Smoothie – in blender add 8oz or more of apple or pineapple juice, 4oz water, 1 banana, 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil (or 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds), ¼ - ½ cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks, 1 scoop of VitaPro Super Nutrition (see Agi's Store). Blend and enjoy.
Optional: If you are still hungry have:
- 1 piece of Ezekiel toast (cinnamon-raisin) or any sprouted bread with raw almond
butter.
- Whole grain cereal without added sugar. Add almond, rice or soy milk and fresh
berries.
- Goats milk yogurt (just a little).
- A few raw almonds (soak overnight to begin the enzyme action, easier to digest).
- Fresh fruit
Second Week
Start your day each morning (Monday – Friday):
- 1 Mug (12 – 16oz) of hot Liver Detox Tea (see Agi's Store)
- Brain Smoothie (same as first week)
Optional: If you are still hungry have any of the options listed in first week.
- In addition have one glass or mug of Liver Detox Tea in the afternoon or evening (either hot or cold)
Tip: Make enough for three days and refrigerate. Heat up in the morning.
Third Week
- Same plan as first week with the addition of 1-2 mugs of Liver Detox Tea in the
afternoon or evening.
Fourth Week
- Same plan as the second week with the addition of 1-2 mugs of Liver Detox Tea in the afternoon or evening.
Breakfast Suggestions for Saturdays & Sundays
- Upon rising drink 12 oz of water
1. Rice waffles with real maple syrup, sprinkled with ground flaxseeds and fresh or frozen berries. A glass of apple, grape, orange or pineapple juice (dilute juice with 50% water).
2. Tortilla Espanola – A delicious Spanish breakfast made with hormone-free eggs, potatoes and onions (Recipe below). A glass of freshly extracted carrot, apple and ginger juice.
3. “I Cant’ Believe It’s Not Eggs” – Delicious breakfast wrap made with organic tofu, turmeric, zucchini, onions and garlic wrapped in a tortilla (Recipe below).
4. Fresh fruit with sprouted grain toast topped with raw almond butter and fruit spread.
Freshly extracted apple juice with 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil.
5. Buckwheat pancakes with cinnamon, blueberries, ground flaxseeds and real maple syrup. A glass of freshly extracted watermelon juice.
6. Cereal (without added sugar, fruit sweetened is okay) with almond, rice or soymilk. Add banana, blueberries, raspberries and raw almonds and pecans.
7. Omelet made with eggs (without hormones), spinach, zucchini, garlic, tomatoes and jalapeno (skip the tomato and jalapeno and add salsa). A piece of sprouted bread with real butter (without hormones).
Helpful Hints:
The Brain Smoothie made with VitaPro Super Nutrition can also be added to freshly extracted vegetable juice. During these 30 days it will be easier to transition into a healthier lifestyle by weaning off of cola and caffeinated drinks. Begin by diluting these beverages with water. If you are used to eating dessert everyday, try eating dessert every other day. The same with dairy and meat. Drink lots of water, at least 6-8 glasses each day.
It is very important to make sure you have at least one or two bowel movements a day. By cutting down or eliminating white flour products, dairy and meat, your bowels should begin to open up. An herbal formula colon cleanse can be an effective treatment for constipation sufferers (not for people who have colitis or irritable bowel disorders).
If you just can’t go without coffee, try drinking a strong hot cup of Liver Detox Tea. It is a great tasting coffee substitute. Also try coffee substitutes found in health food stores. If you still can’t do that, definitely go decaf, then brew a weaker cup of coffee and stop after one cup.
